My Story

I grew up in Taiwan, where the principles of Eastern medicine are part of everyday life—especially through food. From a young age, I learned that what we eat has a direct impact on how we feel, our energy, and our overall health. Food wasn’t just about eating—it was about balance, nourishment, and supporting the body through different stages of life.

When I moved to England, I began to notice a different cultural relationship with food. Meals often felt more convenience-driven and less centred around nourishment and tradition. This contrast deepened my appreciation for the way I was brought up—where food was a way of caring for the body, restoring balance, and bringing people together. In many ways, it was this realisation that gently planted the seed for the work I do today.

My personal health journey took a pivotal turn during pregnancy, when I was initially diagnosed with gestational diabetes. I felt uncertain about starting medication straight away and wanted to understand my body more deeply first. Through nutrition and lifestyle changes, I was able to stabilise my post-meal blood sugar levels—but my fasting levels remained high.

Determined to find answers, I continued to ask questions and advocate for myself. After further investigation, I was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called glucokinase MODY, rather than gestational diabetes—meaning medication was not appropriate for me.

This experience taught me that health is never one-size-fits-all. It showed me the importance of looking beyond symptoms, understanding root causes, and recognising how individual each person’s body truly is. It also reinforced the importance of listening to your body and taking an active role in your own health.

Inspired by this journey, I went on to study naturopathic nutrition at CNM. I became deeply passionate about helping others take control of their health through personalised nutrition and lifestyle support. I believe that, when given the right support, the body has an incredible ability to heal and rebalance.

Today, my work combines traditional wisdom with modern, evidence-based approaches. I support individuals in understanding their bodies, addressing the root causes of imbalance, and building sustainable habits that support long-term health, balance, and wellbeing.

My Approach

I trained as a Nutritional Therapist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM), completing a three-year diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition. My training focused on understanding the body as an interconnected system and identifying the root causes of imbalance using evidence-based approaches.

I am a fully qualified and registered Naturopathic Nutritional Therapist, and a member of both the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners (ANP) and the General Naturopathic Council (GNC) in the UK. Maintaining professional membership requires ongoing continued professional development (CPD) and keeping up to date with the latest clinical research and evidence-based practice.

I believe that every individual is unique, and my role is to support you with tailored nutrition and lifestyle guidance to help you feel your best.

What is Naturopathic Nutrition?

Naturopathic nutrition takes a whole-body approach to health, using food, lifestyle, and natural strategies to support the body’s ability to restore balance and function optimally.

Root Cause Focus

I look beyond symptoms to understand the root of the issue—just like a tree, where what we see above the surface reflects what is happening beneath. By addressing the deeper causes, I support lasting, meaningful change.

Whole-Body Approach

I see the body as an interconnected system, where each part influences the other. By understanding how areas such as digestion, hormones, immunity, and the nervous system work together, I can support balance more effectively.

Individualised Care

I recognise that every person is unique. Just as no two trees grow in exactly the same way, your plan is tailored to your body, lifestyle, and goals—so it feels realistic and sustainable.

Support, Not Suppression

I focus on supporting the body’s natural processes, rather than simply masking symptoms. By creating the right conditions, I help your body restore balance and function as it is designed to.
